We thought it would be interesting to keep track of on going programs sponsored by State Legacy Funds so here we go:

"These projects are funded in part of in whole with money from the vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008 which dedicated funding to preserve Minnesota's arts and cultural heritage.  This program is sponsored by Thorson Memorial Public Library & Viking Library System."

Street Music at the library:  This program allows us to hire local musicians to perform each Wednesday from 11:00 to 1:00 providing free concerts for the community.  Many local restaurants are getting into the spirit of the event by preparing "To Go" specials that day so that you can take your food to the library and enjoy the music.  This event is held outside unless the weather dictates we move inside ~ but there will be music rain or shine.
